How to reserve or order books
- Do it online by yourself. What's required is an active library account (library card) to 3AMK (Laurea, Haaga-Helia, Metropolia) Library.
- Login to Finna
- Search the book
- If there are items that can be reserved online, a Place a request on the title link will appear on the top of the availabilty information section. Click the link.
- Choose the campus library from where you wish to pick up your reservation
- Click Submit request link
- You will be notified to your email when the book is available for pick up
General guidelines
- Reserved books will be held for one week
- Library will charge 2 € for uncollected holds
- Reservations can be picked up from the reserved books shelf in the library. Remember to check out the books using the check out machine.
- Avoid unnecessary reservations. Always go and get the book directly from the shelf by yourself if possible.
Reserving is not possible
- If you don't have an active library account (library card) to 3AMK Library
- If you already have checked out the title in question
- If you have fines 15 € or more
- If you have 50 active reservations
- Reading room copies or journals can not be reserved
Cancelling your request
- If the requested item is already in the pickup shelf, it can not be cancelled through Finna. Contact the pickup location.
- Otherwise log into Finna and cancel the request on Holds and recalls subpage.
Delivery time
- Delivery time for books sent from other campus libraries varies usually from a day to a week.
