Library owned e-books
Laurea Library acquires e-books from several different e-book services. Some services allow you to download e-books and read them offline for a limited period of time (1-2 weeks). Some services don't.
Ebook Central, Ellibs (Finnish e-books only) and VLeBooks allow downloading e-books to your mobile device or to your computer.
Downloadable e-books are copy-protected with Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) software, so you first need to install a reading software that supports Adobe's DRM.
For PC and Mac the reading software is called Adobe Digital Editions.
For mobile devices install Adobe Digital Editions or Bluefire Reader.
