What are 3AMK libraries?

Laurea, Haaga-Helia and Metropolia UAS united their collection databases and customer registers in May 2019. 3AMK libraries refers to co-operation of these three libraries.

Can I return my book to any 3AMK library?

Yes, you can return your loans to any 3AMK (Laurea, Haaga-Helia, Metropolia) campus libary.

I’m not student of Laurea. Is it possible to use the library?

Laurea Library (and all 3AMK libraries) is open to the public. Please visit library customer service to get a library card. We’ll tell you then more about our service. Welcome! You can leave your information before your visit via this form.

How can I reserve a book?

How can I renew my books?

Log in to Finna and select the books you want to renew.

I can´t log in to my Finna account. What can I do?

In most cases creating yourself a new PIN code in Finna will help. See the instructions.
If you fail to create a PIN code in Finna, contact your campus library. PIN code can be reseted at the library customer service. Bring an ID with you.

How can I use an e-book? The book doesn’t open.

There is no easy answer. Contact library library[at]laurea.fi and describe your problem as well as you can. (Which book you tried to access, where did you find the link to the book, are you within or outside Laurea network, which error message you got, which device you are using etc.)

Is it possible to have guidance on how to search for information?

You can book a time for guidance here. There is no cost for Laurean staff and students.
LibGuides are a type of subject guides, which help you find e-books, journals, databases and other information providers related to your field of study.

I have print-disability. Can I get help from the library?

If you have a print-disability and need accessible media, you can use Celia services for students with print-disabilities. Please contact library customer service to register for Celia’s services.
Laurea Library also offers assistive devices (rulers, earplugs, etc.) and brochures. Please ask more from the customer service!

Could there be more copies of course books? Can I suggest acquisitions to the collection?

The library purchases as many course books as possible. Get acquainted with study plans in good time and check the availability of required books. It is as well to check if there is an e-book available.
